Art Courses in Exford

These courses are run by one of our volunteers, Pauline Clyde.
The studio is a warm and comfortable place, each person has their own space with easel, table and chair.

COURSES IN SPRING AND SUMMER 2026

TONE AND COLOUR BALANCE 27th, 28th and 29th March
​​UNUSUAL OBJECTS AND STILL LIFE 10th, 11th and 12th April
​FLOWERS AND PORTRAITS 22nd, 23rd and 24th May
​BOTANICAL DRAWING AND PAINTING. 26th, 27th and 28th June
​WORKING FROM SKETCH BOOKS 3rd, 4th and 5th July
​REVIEWING COLOUR, TONE AND STRUCTURE 24th, 25th and 26th July
During the courses various aspects of painting are explored. The variety and use of materials is not limited. We work with a mixture of acrylics, oil, watercolour, graphite, charcoal and inks. All materials are supplied. The courses are for everyone whether returning to painting or wanting to start. The courses run on a friday and saturday with a sunday set aside, without teaching, for finishing works.
