IMPORTANT - Changes to our booking policy


Hello All!

Thank you first for taking time to read this.

After a lot of discussions between ourselves, it has been decided to change our booking policy to a payment up front policy.

We have had several no shows or last minute cancellations during 2019 which has forced us into this hard decision. Although the majority of customers do cancel in good time or show up for their booked trek, with even some paying when members of their parties don't show - we have got a growing problem of some customers failing to inform us, which is costing us a great deal of money. In short, if this was to continue, we wouldn't be able to be financially viable.

By this, we are trying to avoid regular price rises also, so hopefully it will be beneficial to everyone.

Simply now, when you book a trek you will require to pay the full amount up front.

By Phone - please have a debit or credit card ready to take payment from you using our secure system powered by Paypal. If you don't have a card at the time, don't worry, we will call you back at a time to suit you. Don't have a debit or credit card, again don't worry, we can send you an invoice for a BACs payment or you can bring a cheque or cash into our office prior to the trek. PLEASE NOTE IN ALL CASES THE BOOKING IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS MADE.

By Using our online form - Once submitted, we will check your form and inform you of a suggested date, time and any problems - just like we do now. Once this is all confirmed, we will generate an invoice using paypal. This can be settled via BACs or Paypal. We will also accept credit card payments over the phone (if debit - please use BACs instead) - you can make a credit card payment by calling 01598 741 246. You are also welcome to bring a cash or a cheque into our office prior to the trek. PLEASE NOTE IN ALL CASES THE BOOKING IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS MADE.

Booking on site - Feel free to come and visit us here at Brendon Manor if you are passing and book your trek face to face. Please follow the instructions on the main gate and come back if we are not around! Treks booked on site are payable in advance and just like we do now, we accept cash, cheque and all major debit and credit cards.

(Cheques are made payable to Brendon Manor Stables - we do not accept cheques in the post).

IF PAYING VIA PAYPAL OR BACs, PLEASE USE YOUR SURNAME AND DATE OF BOOKING AS REFERENCE. Don't worry we will tell you this on the phone or via email at the time of booking if you do forget!
